Mi itinerario de viaje / My trip itinerary (in spanish and english) scroll down for english

Photobucket

Recorrer lugares, sabores, costumbres y culturas.

Primer viaje:
1)Argentina
 2) Chile
3) Peru
4) Colombia
5) Venezuela

Segundo viaje:
1) Argentina
2) Bolivia
3) Peru
4) Ecuador
5) Guatemala
6) Panama
7) Costa Rica
8) Nicaragua
9) Honduras
10) El Salvador
11) Mexico
12) Cuba
Espero que me sigan en este viaje..!!!

One of my many dreams is to travel around Latin America. From south to north or north to south, it doesn't matter. Go to places and experience tastes, customs and cultures, talking to people, their stories and their secrets (culinary and the others)
Looking back, in fact six years ago I did cross America ... but from the sky. I boarded a plane in Buenos Aires and 11 hours later I was in New York.

Several decades ago,  a fellow argentinean much less bourgeois than me did not hesitate and decided to conquer America - first in a naive teenage trip; then, pursuing the revolution. The story goes that the day they killed him he told his executioner: "I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, coward! You will just kill a man! "

I must admit I am not a Marxist, Trotskyist, Lenininist or Revolutionary.
Suffice is to say that I live one train stop from Wall Street, that I've studied business, have worked for large multinational companies and recently created my own company. I am, I must confess, the full expression of the bourgeois class who believes (and enjoy) the virtues of capitalism and meritocracy.

But back to my friend Che. I ask (you) myself: Don't we all have in a very tiny space deep in our souls a revolutionary ideal, a repressed pulsion to alter the course of our life as we know it? Who doesn't think (perhaps even frequently) in changing jobs, profession, city, country, nose or breasts? In our global, mediatic world of  "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" it is almost impossible to generate any change of true significance. As for me, I have already changed my job, profession, city and country. But, since I am terrified  by  surgery, I prefer to substitute my revolutionary pulsion for another idea, a little more fun.

I will travel as Che(f) and visit the countries, peoples and flavors of Latin America ... but in NYC.Following the route of Che Guevara in his 2 trips, I will try to follow the same route:

This is my proposal: at every stop I will talk to its people, understand their customs, foods, recipes and stores. I will visit cafes and typical restaurants.

First trip:
1) Argentina
2) Chile
3) Peru
4) Colombia
5) Venezuela

Second trip:
1) Argentina
2) Bolivia
3) Peru
4) Ecuador
5) Guatemala
6) Panama
7) Costa Rica
8) Nicaragua
9) Honduras
10) El Salvador
11) Mexico
12) Cuba
I hope you  will follow me on this journey... !!!
